Generous scholarships
We offer a great range of scholarships for international students. These can reward you for academic merit, provide English language support, and give you tuition fee discounts
Dean’s Merit scholarships
Merit scholarships reward outstanding academic performance for students studying Business, Economics, Science, Law and Medicine. These prestigious scholarships can provide you with up to 50% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your degree
Tasmanian International Scholarships (TIS)
This scholarship recognises high performing international students across a wide range of degrees. This scholarship can provide you with a 25% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your degree
ASEAN scholarships
If you are an international student from an ASEAN country, you can receive a 15% reduction in your tuition for the duration of your degree. This includes nationals of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
South Asia scholarships
If your are an international student from a South Asian country, you can receive a 15% reduction in your tuition for the duration of your degree. This includes citizens of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan
UK and Canadian medicine scholarships
We have a limited number of scholarships available for students from the UK and Canada to study our Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) degree. These scholarships can provide you with a 15% reduction in your tuition for the duration of your degree
Commencing offshore student scholarships
We are looking forward to welcoming international students back to our campuses in 2022, as travel to Australia becomes more and more possible. If you are wanting to come to Australia to commence your study with us, this scholarship can provide you with a 20% reduction in your tuition fees while you are studying online
Commencing onshore student scholarships
If you are an international student already in Australia, we have a set of packages to help kick start your study with us. Whether you are looking to jump start your career, get some help in relocating to Tasmania, or want to experience our vibrant on-campus living experience, our packages are tailored to your needs
English language package
