About the Scholarship
The International Merit Scholarship is available to all new international students enrolling in vocational, undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, research, and packaged academic courses at any CQUniversity campus or online. The scholarship offers a tuition fee reduction of up to 25%, with the exact percentage determined based on the applicant’s previous academic performance or English language proficiency.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Enrollment Status: Be a new international student commencing studies at CQUniversity.
- Course Application: Apply for and receive an offer for a vocational, undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, research, or packaged academic course at CQUniversity.
- Academic Merit: Demonstrate academic excellence or possess a high level of English language proficiency.

- Closing Date: December 31, 2030
How to Apply
- Course and Scholarship Application: Apply for your chosen course and the International Merit Scholarship simultaneously through CQUniversity’s iStart online system.

Live, Earn, Learn Scholarship
About the Scholarship
The Live, Earn, Learn Scholarship is designed for international students who have received offers to study at CQUniversity’s Rockhampton North campus in Term 1, 2025. The scholarship provides a 35% accommodation discount and opportunities for paid part-time work on-campus or within the local community. The scholarship benefits are applicable for the first 15 weeks of the term.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Admission Offer: Have applied and received an offer to study at the Rockhampton North campus for Term 1, 2025.
- Accommodation Application: Have applied to reside at the on-campus student residence during their study period.
Application Deadlines

How to Apply
- Course Application: Apply for a course at CQUniversity’s Rockhampton North campus through the iStart online system.
- Offer Acceptance: Accept your course offer by January 31, 2025.

Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit
About the Scholarship
The Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit (BIB), formerly known as the MORA-CQUniversity Australia Scholarship Program, is a collaboration between the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) Indonesia and CQUniversity Australia. This scholarship offers 100% tuition fee coverage and additional financial support for Indonesian citizens pursuing a research higher degree at any CQUniversity campus in Australia. The scholarship is available for up to 4 years.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit, applicants must:
- Citizenship: Be a citizen of Indonesia.
- MORA Requirements: Meet the eligibility requirements outlined by MORA on their official website.
- Academic Program: Apply for a research higher degree at CQUniversity Australia.
- Academic Qualifications: Meet the academic entry requirements of CQUniversity, including a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
- Enrollment Status: Commit to full-time enrollment as an onshore international student at CQUniversity Australia.

How to Apply
- Expression of Interest: Complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a research higher degree at CQUniversity, specifying your course, preferred location, and providing a brief description of your proposed research topic.
- Approval and Supervision: Once your EOI is approved, you will be connected with prospective research supervisors to develop your formal application.
- Formal Application: Submit a formal application to study at CQUniversity Australia.
- MORA Application: Apply for the scholarship through MORA, ensuring you meet all their specified requirements.
