What is SOL Edu?

SOL (Seed of Life) Edu is a company that offers education and migration services to international students and clients. Headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, SOL Edu also has five overseas offices located in New Zealand, Korea, Thailand, and Bhutan. 

We provide free online and in person counselling, to connect students with educational courses of the world’s top universities and colleges. We have more than 50 employees who speak ten different languages to provide more personal and direct services to students. Our staff is also well trained to deliver migration pathways, helping you stay longer and permanently in Australia and New Zealand. 

What services does SOL Edu offer?

At SOL Edu, we offer education and migration services to help international students have the best experience possible while studying abroad. We provide academic advising to help you choose a suitable school and courses based on your needs and circumstances. We assist you in all admission and visa application processes, which prepares you ready for study in Australia and New Zealand. We can also help you figure out the best ways to migrate to Australia and New Zealand based on your specific situations. 

Does SOL Edu charge a fee for the education services?

Some agencies may charge a service fee for consultation and admission processes. However, SOL Edu offers comprehensive consultation services and will assist you until you receive a Confirmation of Enrollment from New Zealand institutions at no cost.

Is SOL Edu open to different nationalities?

Yes! We provide migration and education services to international students of all countries, and at all ages from primary schools to tertiary education. Our educational counsellors are bilinguals who are highly proficient in English and another language, being able to serve students from most countries in the world. Some popular countries that our students come from are Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Bhutan, Latin America and the Middle East.

What are the entry requirements to study in New Zealand?

English Language Proficiency Requirement:  

  • For undergraduate programs, you are required to have at least an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no band score under 5.5. 
  • For postgraduate programs, you are required to have at least an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with no band score under 6.0. 

Academic Requirements:  

  • To enroll in Bachelor programs, you are required to have completed High School qualifications in New Zealand or your home country. The minimum grade required will depend on each study program. Contact us on 07 3003 1899 or [email protected] to learn more.  
  • To enroll in Taught Maters programs, you need to have completed a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate diploma from New Zealand or an acceptable equivalent oversea qualification.  
  • To enroll in Research Maters programs, you must have completed a bachelor honours degree or postgraduate diploma from New Zealand or an acceptable equivalent overseas qualification, and normally with a B grade.

What courses can I study for migration to New Zealand?

There are many courses you can study to migrate to New Zealand, for example:  

  • Higher Education: Information Technology, Business, Teaching (Education), Nursing, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Food Technology and Occupational Therapy 
  • Vocational Study: Cookery, Health and Wellbeing, and Pharmacy.
