Event Coordinator
Duties and responsibilities
The role of a marketing coordinator is to provide comprehensive support for marketing activities and assist in the successful execution of marketing strategies. The coordinator collaborates closely with the Director, General Manager, marketing team and sales teams to ensure effective coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives. Sales

- Process applications for international students including ELICOS, VET, TAFE and University applications using institutions' application systems on behalf of counsellors
- Assess each applicant and decide whether they are a good fit for admissions to Australian institutions
- Understand each institutions admission policy and guide Education counsellors throughout admission process
- Process students’ course-related requests including extension, deferral, cancellations or other general enquiries to Australian institutions on behalf of counsellors
- Communicate with partner institutions about students’ application or enquiries on behalf of counsellors in a professional manner
- Communicate with colleagues in an open and efficient way to update admission progress / progress
- Maintain proper and comprehensive records and documentations as per SOL Edu system
- Assist with general office duties such as answering incoming enquiries or phone calls

Experience and skills
- Experience in customer service and administration tasks
- Work experience in education agencies preferred
- Understanding admission process for English school, VET school, Universities in Australia (Desired, not compulsory)
- Understanding Australian student visa system (Desired, not compulsory)
- Work under pressure
- Excellent attention to details
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Communication skills, both verbal and written communication
- High level of English competency
- Time management skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Qualifications

- Update application process and school update to sub agent/business partners.
- Create and improve proposals for existing and new sub agents/business partners.
- Oversee day to day operation and monitor sub agent performance.
- Review sub agents' performance regularly.
Admin Skills
- Analyse prospective sub agent applications based on standard admission policies.
- Keep accurate and detailed records in CRM.
- Check the genuineness of documents provided by sub agents.
- Maintain proper and comprehensive records and documentation as per CRM system.
- Monitor application progress and report to manager on monthly and quarterly.
- Ensure sub agent applications follow partner institutes admission requirement and compliance.

- Graduates from higher education courses at an Australian university or proven equivalent work experience.
- Have work rights in Australia.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Time management and the ability to priorities tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Understand and value the multicultural working environment.
