Special Admissions Process Update
- Predicted Results for Unconditional Offers: As of August 2024, applications for Semester 1, 2025, can be assessed for unconditional offers based on predicted results for applicants with approved qualifications from any country.
Postgraduate Special Admissions Process Updates
- Revised Deadlines: The deadline for Onshore Special Admissions Process for Semester 1, 2025, has been updated to November 1, 2024. Expansion to include applicants from Thailand, Vietnam, and Canada.
- Changes in Computer Science Programs: The Offshore Special Admissions Process is no longer available for specific Computer Science programs due to strict quota requirements.
Master of Building Performance and Sustainable Design
- Launching from Semester 1, 2025, this new program focuses on sustainable design and building performance for a low-carbon built environment, offered by the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design, and Planning.
UNSW College
- Course Applications: Specific programs at UNSW College are not accepting new applications for 2025 due to high demand. However, Diplomas in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Media, and Communications for January and August and certain Foundation programs for January and March remain open.
- Legislative Changes: Proposed Australian government changes could limit international student enrollments. These changes are still under review, and UNSW is actively engaging with the government regarding potential impacts.
Australian National University (ANU)
- Streamlined Processes: ANU has updated its application portal to include a Genuine Student (GS) assessment, enhancing clarity and efficiency.
- Accommodation Guarantee: Students applying for 2025 accommodation at ANU by December 20, 2024, are guaranteed ㄏㄩaccommodation, supporting their transition and enhancing their study experience.
Curtin College
- New Payment Options: Curtin College now accepts BPAY for student payments through its partnership with Flywire, providing a secure and convenient payment method for international students.
Australian Catholic University (ACU)
- Nursing Program Quota Filled: ACU’s Nursing program at the Melbourne campus has reached its acceptance quota for February 2025. Alternative options include transferring to other campuses or different programs.
