Curtin University Entry Requirements 

  • English Requirement: To be eligible for a higher education course at Curtin University, international students must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 6.0.  
  • Academic Requirement: Normally, applicants are required to have completed Year 12 or equivalent in order to enroll in an undergraduate program. For the postgraduate program, the applicants need to obtain a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.  The minimum academic record varies, depending on each course.

Tuition fees vary depending on the specific course. However, as of 2024, the average annual tuition cost for Curtin University higher education program can range from $29,000 to $44,000. 

Curtin University Scholarships for International Students 

Alumni and Family Scholarships

The Curtin Alumni and Family Scholarship provides a discount of up to 25% on the first-year tuition fees for international students who are Curtin alumni or have siblings/parents/children who are either Curtin alumni or currently enrolled in an academic program at Curtin University.

Australian Year 12 Scholarships

The Australian Year 12 Scholarship is designed to support students who have completed Year 12 and are aspiring to study at Curtin University. It provides a discount of up to 25% on the first-year tuition fees for eligible students. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet all entry requirements and commence their undergraduate courses at Curtin’s Western Australia campus in 2024. Merit Scholarships

The Merit Scholarship awards a discount of 25% on the first-year tuition fees for eligible students who have met or exceeded the higher academic cut-off score determined by Curtin University. A separate application for this scholarship is not required as your eligibility will be automatically assessed during the admission process.
