VU Block Model® International Scholarship
About the Scholarship
The VU Block Model® International Scholarship provides eligible international students with up to a 30% tuition fee reduction for their first year of study at VU Melbourne. This initiative supports students enrolling in foundation, higher education diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate (coursework) programs in 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be new international students commencing an eligible program at VU Melbourne in 2025.
- Meet the academic entry requirements for their chosen course.

Medibank School Leavers Merit Scholarship
About the Scholarship
The Medibank School Leavers Merit Scholarship awards $5,000 toward tuition fees for exceptional international students who complete Year 12 or IB studies in Australia in 2024 and commence an undergraduate degree at VU in 2025. This scholarship is awarded in addition to the VU Block Model International Scholarship.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be current Year 12 students in Australia, graduating in 2024.
- Be international students with a valid student visa (or eligible to apply).
- Apply for a higher education diploma or undergraduate degree through VTAC and receive an offer from VU.
- Not be existing students at VU.
Application Deadlines
- Closing Date: Friday, 24 January 2025.
- Notification of Results: Friday, 31 January 2025.
How to Apply
- Apply for a VU undergraduate program via VTAC.
- Submit a separate application for the Medibank School Leavers Merit Scholarship.
- Accept the admission offer and pay the required deposit before 7 February 2025.
