UQ International Excellence Scholarship
The UQ International Excellence Scholarship provides assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international students commencing a relevant program at UQ. The value of the scholarship is a 25% reduction in tuition fees per year with a maximum duration of four years or the duration of the program where it is less than four years.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Have received an unconditional offer from UQ
- Apply for a full-time study
- Have completed your most recent qualification in Australia
- Have achieved a competitive score
All eligible applicants will be considered automatically based on merit for this scholarship.

UQ International High Achievers Scholarship
The UQ International High Achievers Scholarship provides assistance with tuition fees for high achieving offshore students who are passport holders of Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Kenya, Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand or an eligible country in Europe or Latin America to study at UQ.
The value of the scholarship is 20% tuition fee reduction per semester and the scholarship can apply for the entire duration of the program (up to 4 years).
All eligible applicants will be considered automatically based on merit for this scholarship if they have received an unconditional offer for a relevant program at UQ.

UQ International Onshore Merit Scholarship
The UQ International Onshore Merit Scholarship provides assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international students whose most recent qualifications are from Australia, and are commencing a relevant program at UQ in 2025.
The value of the scholarship is a one-off tuition fee reduction of $5,000 – $10,000 which will be applied to the first two semesters of the program (or 1 semester only for Foundation students).
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Have received an unconditional offer from UQ
- Apply for a full-time study
- Have completed your most recent qualification in Australia
- Have achieved a competitive score

UQ Lifelong Learner Scheme
UQ Lifelong Learner Scheme provides assistance with tuition fees for UQ alumni commencing a relevant program at UQ.
The value of the scheme is a 10% reduction in tuition fees per year with a maximum duration of four years or the duration of the program where it is less than four years.
NOTE: The UQ Lifelong Learner Scheme is for UQ alumni who have previously completed at least two semesters (totalling 16 units) of full-time study at UQ.
All eligible applicants will be considered automatically if they meet the criteria and have received an unconditional offer for a relevant program that commences in Semesters 1 or 2, 2025.

Science Global Ambassador Scholarship - China
Science Global Ambassador Scholarship is designed for international students from China who are commencing an approved Faculty of Science program (minimum of one-year duration)
The scholarship value is up to $10,000 per year, applying for 2 semesters.
To apply for this Scholarship, you must complete an online application form and must include a personal statement figuring out why you fit for the scholarship.
The selection panel will rely on your academic excellence, your capacity to contribute to science as a global ambassador in your country. UQ may also consider the diversity and inclusion when reviewing all the applications.
Science International Scholarships
This scholarship is designed to support international students to pursue an approved Faculty of Science program (minimum of one-year duration)
The scholarship value is up to $5,000 per year, applying for 1 semester.
To apply for this Scholarship, you must complete an online application form and must include a personal statement figuring out why you fit for the scholarship.
