Francis Carroll Scholarship
Established in 2006 to honor Archbishop Francis Carroll’s contributions to the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn upon his retirement, this scholarship supports students who have relocated from regional, rural, or remote areas to study at ACU’s Canberra campus.

Value: $2,500, paid in a lump sum

Eligibility:
- Enrollment: Enrolled in any ACU degree in Semester 1, 2025
- Campus: Canberra
- Residency: Relocated from a regional, rural, or remote area within the Archdiocese of Canberra/Goulburn or the Diocese of Wagga Wagga

Thomas More Law School Academic Excellence Scholarship
Established in 2012, the Thomas More Law School Academic Excellence Scholarship underscores ACU’s dedication to academic excellence within its undergraduate programs in Law and Criminology and Criminal Justice. The scholarship aims to reward high-achieving students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance in their first year of study.
Scholarship Type: Merit-based
Value:
- Total value of up to $10,000, distributed over the duration of the course:
- For students in a five-year course:
- First payment: $1,250
- Subsequent payments: $1,250 per semester
- For students in a four-year course:
- First payment: $2,500
- Subsequent payments: $1,500 per semester
- For students in a five-year course:

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in the Thomas More Law School within the Faculty of Law and Business.
- Be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Law or Criminology and Criminal Justice.
- Have completed one year of full-time study in the Thomas More Law School.

- Note: Students are eligible to receive this scholarship only once during their studies at ACU.

- A written statement of approximately 500 words, detailing their motivation for undertaking an ACU Law and/or Criminology and Criminal Justice degree.
- Two letters of recommendation:
